I'm really excited to be a part of Lovejets: Queer Male Poets on 200 Years of Walt Whitman via Squares & Rebels with so many gay writers I love, that I am continually inspired by, that gave me permission to write about my self and my body and sex in a way that is candid but also presses and pries. My poem featured in this anthology is called "A Poem on My Husband's Birthday with Last Lines Regifted from Tim Dlugos." A poem born from learning and leaning into other gay writers (and really falling for A Fast Life: The Collected Poems of Tim Dlugos, ed. David Trinidad).
